Happy Wednesday

Wednesday will probably look a lot like Tuesday. San Francisco is mostly socially distancing; some people are not changing their activities.

I put an initial prototype of a “gift guessing game” on the web: Needs polish and code to do something more clever than randomly present questions and gift ideas… will come back to it.

I’m also working on more detailed reports for Peercoin’s supernode. The reporting programs are gathering in: and should help me write better tests in the rewards library:

Happy Tuesday

San Francisco is now “sheltering in place”. The streets are not entirely empty but very muted. It’s early, we’ll see how it goes.

I’m still hitting the DuoLingo and courses for Esperanto exercise. I picked up a Udemy course on piano to help with music theory and general music understanding. Still picking away at the edX music theory class.

On the Haskell front, I’ve started to make slow progress in both the School of Expression and School of Music books. Installing and using the FluidSynth MIDI server instead of Timidity has made using Euterpea a joyful experience. It will likely shift over time but some notes are being captured in

Happy Friday

It’s been interesting times. There’s a global pandemic, the stock market is crashing, cryptocurrency is burning 🙂

I’m still learning more Haskell. I need to make the leap to Yesod when my little Haskell legs are stronger. There’s an application I would like to exist that might be a good fit.

My Esperanto is still childish and rusty but Duolingo’s course has improved a lot since the last time I tried it. Eĉ la kurso de estas pli bona la dua (aŭ tria) tempo ĉirĉaŭ 😉
